Jayson Thornton Named to AAAA 2020 50 Under 50
2020 marks the first annual ASSOCIATION OF AFRICAN AMERICAN FINANCIAL ADVISORS (AAAA) 50 Under 50 program.
The 50 Under 50 program recognizes and celebrates influential Black/African American licensed financial advisors, planners, consultants, and operations/ administrative executives in the financial services industry.
Each year, a committee of your peers reviews nominations to create a list of 50 outstanding financial advisers, or industry professionals supporting advisers, who are 50 or younger. Honorees are judged on their accomplishments, contribution to the industry, leadership, and promise. 50 under 50 nominations do not require membership for acknowledgement.
At just 37 years old, Thornton has built a firm dedicated to guiding overwhelmed individuals and small businesses to reach their financial goals. He says, “As a Financial Advisor, it’s my mission to defend and direct. I defend my clients' rights as taxpayers with tax compliance issues including preparation, audits, collections and appeals. And I direct my clients to reach their life goals with careful financial planning.”
The ASSOCIATION OF AFRICAN AMERICAN FINANCIAL ADVISORS (AAAA) was created to address the needs and concerns of African American Financial Professionals. AAAA is a non-profit membership organization for African American financial advisors and affiliated professionals. We work in alliance with academic leaders at HBCUs that support financial planning degree programs, legislative and regulatory bodies, financial services firms and consumer interest organizations. AAAA fosters the value of financial planning and advances the financial planning profession.
